		<description>Yes!! WE have a certain corner in Old Bridge, New Jersey thats perfect for it. Im too old now but kids still do it, and I have such good memories of it. Thats when you could still find metal bumpers.</description>

		<description>yes, bumper riding is still alive.  we called it skitchin, the masters of the sport can ride for miles,  freestyle, one leg, backwards,  move from one side to the other, all while a battle for space with the other morons hanging on plays out .  
Boots can be modified for skitchin, the less tread the better, best footware are dress shoes with a slick plastic sole, they are not warm , but they slide like skates once you are on the bumper.  Always watch out behind you to see if a car is following, bail out to the right curb side when you can&#039;t feel your feet or hands.  get a pair of water ski gloves that have the closed grip design, you can hold on for months with those things</description>
