Went camping for the weekend, actually Thursday, Friday and part of Saturday. Banff is a great place for a holiday as has the true Rocky Mountain experience. Taylor loved roasting marshmallows on the campfire but we were a little disappoited that the threat of bears meant that we had to keep the Aztec closed up and we couldn't put the tent on the back.
Note for next time: do not bring food that isn't easily cooked. We threw out a ton of hamburger :)
So this is what I do on holidays. I redesigned the page and style for the weblog as it is already at least 30 degrees out. Yikes! if the temperature doesn't give in we will be permanently living in our basement.
Well I guess my holiday started yesterday really as weekends happen every week anyway. I watched Old School Sunday night until almost 1:00 and I woke up way to early, 6:00. Why the hell would I want to get up that early on a holiday? Anyway allergies started acting up midmorning and later I realized that what I really have is a cold...so much for getting a good nights sleep! I tossed and turned and even watched a bit of chips but I am hoping to lick this thing before going camping in Banff
