Getting ready for fall

We have apparently started getting ready for fall. On the weekend I cleaned our blinds outside (you never know when it will be to cold to wash things outside) and we had little projects around the house getting stuff ready for the coming winter. Michelle had a meeting with Taylor's Sparks on Thursday and Taylor is excited to be getting ready for her first camping trip away from home this coming weekend.

Jaiden is still running around like crazy and all he ever wants to do is have me read him books. If given the choice between me reading him a book and him eating he chooses the book everytime. Jaiden is still waking up for a bottle in the middle of the night but he is completely weaned from the bottle during the day and is not napping at all. For once I have it better than Michelle with a kid thing. Michelle fights with Jaiden to keep hime up in the afternoon but if I am looking after him it seems to be no problem, he wants to play and read but does not fuss with the no nap rule.

Michelle is back from Vancouver

Michelle is back from Vancouver yesterday and we were pretty excited to see her. I know I was getting worn out looking after the kids and I am sure the kids were getting tired with only having me around. Taylor and I celebrated by going on a 2 and a half hour ride yesterday.

This morning I woke up late for work and Jaiden decided that he wanted me to read books to him. It is so hard to say no when he is so excited about reading and it is doubly hard to say no when he was smiling so big when I was reading the books. I guess after you are late a few minutes, later doesn't really matter.

Taylors entry

I decided that Taylor needs to have a voice here on the family weblog.

She thinks that I am crazy posting to this weblog this early on a Sunday morning. Taylor wants me to make her breakfast now after we had camped out in the tent in the living room last night...Jaiden is still sleeping.

Taylor is hoping to steal the computer away from me. She says that's a crazy thought because I am ALWAYS working on the computer.

That is all from Taylor this morning

Michelles Scrapbooking weekend

Michelle is going away again to Vancouver to do a scrapbooking workshop. Today being Thursday is the last day of my week and Tommorow I get to be Mr Mom as Michelle is taking a 1:00 PM flight out and will not be back until Sunday morning. What does Michelle do on these trips? Well Friday night she has a workshop for 10 people including one guy and then staying at her friend Kara's house along with her boyfriend Jim with the broken ankle. On Saturday she is going for an all day crop getting Taylor's cards done for Halloween, Christmas and Valentines Day. Then she will be staying at Kara's again on Saturday night and taking a morning flight home to see us Sunday.

Jaiden is Two

Oops, I forgot to post about Jaidens birthday yesterday. Jaiden Nadraszky is now two. The family went to my parents place for hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner yesterday and of course a yummy marble cake. Shari Vanderkuip and Jamie Vanderkuip came with Brianne Vanderkuip and Brendan Vanderkuip , Mike Kearney and Brenda-Lee Kearney came with Kaylee Kearney , Mitchell Kearney and Brenda Lees mom. and of course everyone sang happy brithday...twice.

Jaiden is still not talking although he can say NO, Yeah, and momma. But no daddy or even Billy. The greatest thing about Jaidens birthday was how excited he was about all of the presents, it was like he had never gotten a present ever before.
