Cleaning up the computer

Last night I ran down to the local Tim Hortons to get a tea for Michelle. When I got home I was all ready to watch '24" on tape but Michelle reminded me that I needed to resize some pictures on the computer for this website..."Oh and by the way clean up the desktop" Michelle says "Your crap is all over it".

I am sure that Michelle, the greatest wife in the world, is also a clean freak not only about the house but also about the computer as well.

Ron Jeremy

Since Billy started working on this new project at work he decided that he wouldn't shave...so he grew his facial hair into a goatee...well this afternoon he decided to play around and shaved it into a moustache...I was busy scrapbooking so he came downstairs and I literally just about pissed myself laughing...I haven't had such a good laugh in a long, long time. It was priceless. By the way I HATE moustache's. So I've deemed him "Ron Jeremy".

Now isn't this the most pathetic attempt at a moustache!!!

Snow in April

I must say that I really don't mind Calgary's weather all that much. I mean we get a Spring, a Summer, a Fall and a of course we get Winter! Can't forget we get those wonderful Chinook's that I am so happy to see when it's been cold for a while and than all of a sudden it just warms right up that you can actually go outside with a sweatshirt on...even when it's -2C out.

Everyday this week I took the kids to the park...sometimes spending up to 2 hrs at the park. I feel guilty if I don't get those kids out enjoying the beautiful weather we've had all week, the last 2 days have been 21-23C out...I actually have some colour in my face, maybe a little burn and than the winds start blowing fiercely last night, I get up this morning and low and behold it is snowing out, it's a very wet snow, but it's still snowing...it was predicted, well I guess I will spend today scrapbooking.

Oh and GO FLAMES GO!!!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone!

Today we will be having our annual Easter Egg hunt before dinner...and than of course the big turkey dinner. There will be 6 kids ranging in age from 2 1/2 - 13 Years Old and 9 adults...lots of fun, noisy, chaotic and of course there is always some kind of drama!

Hope Everyone's Easter is as fun as ours and that everyone takes a moment to think about what Easter is really all about...

Billy Home Sick

I know I should be a good, supportive wife when your hubby is sick, but, having Billy home sick is driving me nuts! I had to pick him up yesterday at Noon from work because he seems to have caught the flu...well, he is still home! The kids go nuts, I've trying to keep them calm and away from Billy so they won't get sick and also get stuff done, it's nut! Hopefully he feels better soon...poor Billy!

All about Taylor

Taylor has been back for a couple of weeks now from visiting with her Nana and Papa in Abbotsford. Things have been less than civil over these past weeks. Taylor has started coming into our room in the middle of the night to sleep in our bed again after a couple years sleeping in her own bed, she has been very pouty and moody but it is still nice to have her back. She had 1 week at home while on Spring Break and it was brutal for Michelle.

Oh, and I have just taught Taylor how to tie her shoes!

Happy April Fool's Day!

Have you been fooled today?

AND

Don't forget to Spring ahead tonight.

Taylor is home!

Taylor came home yesterday morning with her Aunty Kara. Aunty Kara is out visiting for the weekend so it worked out perfectly for us...maybe not so perfectly for Aunty Kara & Uncle Jim as they had to get up very early and Uncle Jim had a long, long drive back to work during rush hour from the Abbotsford Airport...but, everything in the end worked out and when Taylor came running through those doors to give me a big hug after almost 1 week away with her grandparents...I couldn't help but have tears in my eyes...I missed her soooo very much. Nothing can ever explain the bond between a daughter and her Mommy.

We finally gave Taylor's birthday present to her...after many talks and going back and forth between ideas...we decided to get a Gameboy Advance...pink of course with 2 games...she loves it. We decided the Gameboy would be best since it is just for her.

Jaiden is doing good being weaned from those darn nighttime bottles...really it was all up to us to force him to make that next step...and, low and behold he did fine...now to potty train :{
